The Structure of the Lessons

Each lesson starts with speaking practice. Students are given all the necessary vocabulary to discuss one of the required topics. In the course of the discussion, better grammar structures are offered. Very important techniques of reading texts are discussed with the candidates. By using skimming and scanning methods, students learn to understand texts. They can extract the main ideas. They can also answer questions.

To succeed in a writing assignment, students learn about the format of formal and informal texts. They also lean to use complex and compound sentences to express various ideas. For the listening part, dialogues and extracts from reports or discussions are played. The focus is on finding the correct answers to the given questions. The teacher facilitates this task by giving a lot of practice materials. For those who are doing an Academic IELTS, specific vocabulary on how to describe graphs is offered.
